Congratulations for our partner team in the Northern Nevada Soccer League (NNSL). Huracan had a great game in the Quarter-Finals, beating Antequera 3-0 but unfortunately lost in a tough Semi-Final match-up to Reno Inter. Thank you boys, coach Chinto and coach Julio for a great season!
Great weekend for Players 05 RR at CUFA in South Lake Tahoe. After a comfortable win Saturday morning against Spanish Springs, our boys faced a highly ranked team (top 60 in USA) from Impact soccer club in CA and came away with a convincing 4-1 win and the top spot in our group standings. Our Semi-final match-up on Sunday was South Tahoe La Onda – a team we have seen in many times over the last year. After a very tight game, remarkably, we were were tied after regulation ( again! 4 out of the last 5 games have been tied) and we ultimately lost on penalties. La Onda went on to win the tournament.
Sagebrush Reno Rovers has moved to Players North Soccer Club and will play as Players North 05 RR in the Fall. We are looking forward to continued success and development of our players enhanced by the strength and support of Players North Soccer Club. Our Club page is located at
