Players North 05 RR enjoyed great success in the group games and semi-final, battling through rain and wind yet still winning all three games with 14 goals and 0 against. The final matched us against La Onda of South Tahoe, a strong team with whom we have played many close games over the last few years. We went up 1-0 just after half time, but our opponent responded quickly. It was an exciting and hard-fought game, but at the end La Onda won the match 3-2.
On their first trip to compete in the Players Showcase Tournament in Las Vegas, our boys finished 2nd in their group, but eventually lost in the Semi-Finals to Anahuak Academicos from Cal South 1-3.

Congratulations for our partner team in the Northern Nevada Soccer League (NNSL). Huracan had a great game in the Quarter-Finals, beating Antequera 3-0 but unfortunately lost in a tough Semi-Final match-up to Reno Inter. Thank you boys, coach Chinto and coach Julio for a great season!
Great weekend for Players 05 RR at CUFA in South Lake Tahoe. After a comfortable win Saturday morning against Spanish Springs, our boys faced a highly ranked team (top 60 in USA) from Impact soccer club in CA and came away with a convincing 4-1 win and the top spot in our group standings. Our Semi-final match-up on Sunday was South Tahoe La Onda – a team we have seen in many times over the last year. After a very tight game, remarkably, we were were tied after regulation ( again! 4 out of the last 5 games have been tied) and we ultimately lost on penalties. La Onda went on to win the tournament.
